I was just testing out this new brush I made in Photoshop. It's a simple brush really, but it works with my sensibilities for painting. Unlike the previous example, which is a scattershot approach to texture-bashing and carving out images with light, this asserts the ability to paint within given parameters. It mimics glazing which helps blend colors over time as opposed to direct-painting of solid over solid. I think it probably saves time too.
I least I believe it does. More experiments are needed.
